A bush camp above Lake Munano
Five fully staffed chalets on their own lake in the Chaminuka Nature Reserve, 45 minutes from Lusaka.

Munano
Built as a family retreat in 1991
Andrew Sardanis, who founded Chaminuka, built Munano as a place for his family to get away. It sits on a ridge at the quiet end of the reserve, looking down over Lake Munano.
From camp you can watch elephants move through the bush. At dusk the egrets fly in to roost on the lake’s islands until the trees look like Christmas trees. After dark there’s the fire, the stars and not much else.

The camp
Book a chalet, or the whole camp
Each of the five chalets has a queen bed and an open front looking out over the bush. Book one for the two of you, or take the whole camp for a group of eight to ten.
The rate covers your meals, house drinks and the camp’s activities: game drives, bush walks, fishing and sundowners. From $250 per person a night.
