Your stay

Before you come

Getting here: Chaminuka is in Chongwe, about 45 minutes from Kenneth Kaunda International Airport. We can arrange transfers from the airport or from Lusaka.
Check-in and check-out: Check-in is from 14:30 and check-out is by 09:30. If your flights don’t fit, tell us and we’ll see what we can do.
Children: Children aged 6 to 16 are welcome at half rate. The camp doesn’t take children under six.
Health and safety: Zambia is a malaria area, so use repellent after dark (we provide it). Animals move freely through the reserve: don’t walk outside the main areas alone, especially at night.
Power and Wi-Fi: The camp runs on solar, so please leave the hair dryer and travel kettle at home. There’s Wi-Fi across the camp.
Water and laundry: Drinking water is bottled from a spring in the reserve and left in your chalet. Laundry comes back washed and folded the next day.
